The Retreat Camp Facilities

Camp Taconic is again the location for this year's retreat. Camp Taconic is located in the scenic Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts on 100 acres of land in Hinsdale. Started in the 1932, Camp Taconic is a full summer camp for boys and girls from ages 7-16, and a wonderful location offering off season rentals.

There will be a few camp rules that are given to preserve the comfort and safety of all. They are not overly restrictive and cooperation is greatly appreciated. These will be given at check-in.

Frame cabins sleeping up to 24 on metal beds with thin mattresses provide a convivial camp environment. Some have partitions for one or two. All cabins have electric lights, indoor toilets, sinks and showers. The few cabins with heat are reserved for families with infants or special needs. If preferred, families can bring their own tents, pop-up campers, or motor homes. Setup and parking will be in designated areas. No hookups are available.

Camp Taconic includes lots of amenities for everyone's comfort and enjoyment. Remember to bring is sports equipment such as gloves, balls, etc .
